Most of the mechanics from the original game are still here in some form or another, and stealth takedowns, looting and the XP and leveling systems return. The setting is an island like the original Far Cry 3, only smaller and infested with Blood Dragons, huge creatures with a taste for cyber-soldiers. Set at the end of the 20th century amidst nuclear war, the game features Rex Powercolt, a cyber-soldier trying to stop the rogue Colonel Sloan from launching nuclear weapons. Right from the beginning it’s hard not to like Blood Dragon. Those who played the original can appreciate the wild departure from the norm that is Blood Dragon, and those who are new to the game can still enjoy the wild ride. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon features the same open world feel, just in a smaller package, and with a crazier plot and characters.

So why bother optimizing or making playstation plus premium or extra work well.Far Cry 3 provided gamers with a huge, open world to explore, where the side content was just as compelling as the main story. I don't see them fixing any of this anytime soon. I feel playstation is starting to cut corners. My ps4 controller that I got with the system in Jan 2016. Oh and my ps5 controller is having drift issues after 11 months. I prefer the humor and themes of "older" games compared to the trite offered nowadays.Īlso, somehow the ps5 doesn't have an optical out, yet the ps4 did. I just don't have 2k to blow on a pc right now. And definitely not a fan of fc6 either.Īt this point, if I want a far cry game like 2, 3, or blood dragon. I regret getting far cry 5, very derivative. I wish fallout and prey got the optimization that Xbox X got.įc4 played fine on my ps4. Not just the catalog but the performance. But, the whole "playstation plus premium/extra" compared to Xbox game pass is lackluster. Sony games are more like movies (unlike the metal gear games, the plots aren't very compelling).īut, then you have a gems like bloodborne and demon souls.

Yeah, I'm not a Sony fan boy utterly drooling over games like God of war.
